Swimming, walking and "What does the lion say?"

We have made full use of Mia's swim diapers this summer...it seems that every time we get in the pool she thinks it is time to go #2. Good thing we have two so we can keep swimming. (And thankful the pool shower is around the corner so no one has to watch me wash it.) Mia loves to be in the water and "talks" to the big kids to try to get them to play with her.
After so much swimming you would think she would nap well - not so much! This afternoon she took a 45 minute nap and woke up bursting with energy. I need to find activities that make her tired, but doesn't wear me out as well:) Hard to keep up! Too bad she gets to rest in the stroller while I go for a run during the day. Maybe when she starts walking we do baby exercises, haha!
Seems like walking will be just around the corner. She is certainly brave enough for it. She takes one step and gets so excited that she gets ahead of herself.  She practically runs with the wagon.  She crawls so fast she can catch the kitty now. Who seems to enjoy being caught?!
Mia's first animal sound is a lion!! When you ask her what the lion says, she does the mightiest growl she can muster (which of course is super sweet)! She is working on mastering what the dog says for her second animal sound.
I am working on switching to cloth diapers and loving how it is going. It is something I never thought I would do let alone get excited about. But they really are rather easy and of course will save us lots of money.  Just getting started but I think it was a good decision.
